Fourth add-on about Claptrap uprising.

Contents of the fourth downloadable Borderlands add-on have been leaked, and Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford doesn't seem to mind.

"It's like reading a draft of a script for a movie that hasn't even been announced yet let alone launched," Pitchford told IGN of the puddle of spilled beans. "Yeah, you might learn something, but it's not the real thing and it could just drive you crazy thinking about it."

Setting, enemies, quests, characters and locations were all dug out of files contained within Borderlands PC patch 1.31.

Pitchford joked that he may hide some "super juicy secrets" in the upcoming DLC as retaliation, and hopes they take "more than a day to find".

The fourth Borderlands DLC revolves around a Claptrap robot revolt lead by the Ninja Claptrap. Fed up with slavery, the robots have broken free and wheeled around the world re-animating dead people (and modifying them with robot parts) to join their cause - even some very famous faces. You'll be called in to clear everything up.

Damnit, I'd waited and waited for another Borderlands DLC, finally decided earlier this week that it's been a long while since the release of the game and the last DLC that no more must be coming, so I got rid of the game. Oh well, guess I'll buy it again when the price of the game and the add-on has come down further.

You know this really makes me regret getting rid of borderlands even more. I just felt i didn't have the time to dedicate to it as i had a major backlog and other games were coming out, but there's been a slew of dlc that all sounds really good. It would have been perfect for over summer. I may have to pick it up again for some dlc action as i enjoyed it so much.

Does anyone actually like Claptrap? I hoped I'd never again hear the little cunt announce he was dancing for the fifth time in the last two minutes.

Knoxx, meanwhile, was superb. A shame that his amusing broadcasts always seemed to come when I was in the middle of a pitched battle.

Wake me up when they release a Game of the Year Edition... I lost count of how many DLCs they released and I have yet to play the game so GOY edition would be PERFECT!

I hope they remove the DRM off the 2nd DLC.
I'm holding off playing the Steam version I recently got due to the installl limits that would be triggered by that.
They said they are looking into possibilities to remove the DRM in the future.

I have the original, but no DLC, and i dont think i am that far in the game (getting my butt kicked alot)... i am also hoping for a DLC/GOTY edition) as i will just trade in the original and get that instead. Heres hoping.

The Zombie one was Ok, I didn't bother with the arena one but I just got Knoxx in the 50% off week. Looking forward to trying it though, Borderlands is one of my favourite games in recent years.

Borderlands DLC is literally the only DLC I have ever purchased from the PSN store, which is a testament to it's sheer quality. The only thing which has annoyed me with previous DLC (Knoxx especially), is that if you are on the second playthrough, the enemies are simply too strong and you have to wade through the normal single player campaign again in order to level up to a certain level. Hopefully this new DLC may address that issue.
