Not on general release until next week.

The first three episodes of Keiji Inafune's Zombrex Dead Rising Sun film are available on Xbox Live now.

Capcom said these won't go on general release until next week, on 11th August.

Inafune introduces the series at the beginning of the first episode, and explains his motivation for making the series at the end of episode three.

Dead Rising 2 will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 1st October.

Whereabouts in the market place? I can't find them anywhere, and they're not showing under Dead Rising 2 if you browse by name

I got them in Game Videos section under New Releases. For some reason it's dubbed instead of subtitled, and it's a pretty awful dubbing too! The film itself doesn't look too hot either, I watched the first one and won't be coming back for the rest. Bland predictable plotting, awful dialogue, rubbish fight choreography, stick to making great games instead Inafune!

...and I thought "Flight of the living dead" was bad, I wasn't expecting much from a short film based off a game but this was total arse especially when you see how good short films like Halo: Landfall and Alan Wake: Brightfalls can be.

I've seen better acting in a PG tips advert.

No, it has the exact same save system as the first game.

I actually liked it, it rewarded replayability and allowed you to go through the game in a different way each time, while carrying your stats over.

at least it was there at 11am..i downloaded them and watched them(2 x 400mb,1 x just under a1gig)...cheap and shitty acting,but it was fun to watch,i just hope that there are more Zombie scenes in the later episodes

@shikz - apparently not. Countdown is still there too. They wish to retain the atmosphere.

Apparently it is dealt with in a more player-friendly way though.
